Drew Gulak Seemingly Acknowledges Risk Of WWE Release

In addition to being a full-time performer on NXT, Drew Gulak also works as a trainer at the Performer Center, where he helped train Bad Bunny and Logan Paul. Therefore, some believe the former independent star is indispensable to the promotion. Yet, with non-stop talk of talent cuts, it appears even he is concerned for his future, as he would take to X to seemingly acknowledge his spot is at risk while still keeping a positive outlook.

36-year-old Gulak broke into the business via Combat Zone Wrestling in 2004, where he worked until signing with WWE in 2016. His signing came about due to WWE again wanting to push the cruiserweight division, and he would be heavily featured on 205 Live and hold the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in 2019. However, his big break and most memorable run came in 2020 after he was drafted to SmackDown and formed an alliance with Daniel Bryan based on them having mutual respect for each other’s in-ring abilities.
