Adam Cole broke his ankle in three places two weeks ago during Dynamite’s Grand Slam episode when he jumped off the entrance ramp. And now it has been reported by Sean Ross Sapp during a Fightful Select Q&A session that his longtime girlfriend, Dr. Britt Baker, will be taking time away from the company to care for him. Exactly how long she’ll be absent remains to be seen; however, the report suggested a couple of weeks.
“I have been told that Britt will likely not be at TV for a couple of weeks because she’s going to be taking care of Adam Cole, that she had to drive him around, that he was not able to take care of himself.”
Sean Ross SappThere has been some speculation online from fans that Cole’s injury could be an elaborate work as part of his storyline with MJF. However, as nobody with any insider knowledge has given that any credence and Baker has shared a photo and x-ray on Twitter/X showing the damage, it appears Cole’s injury is all too real.
