AEW star Adam Cole turned 33 on Tuesday, and his long-term girlfriend, Dr. Britt Baker, took to Twitter to tweet a heartfelt message while also addressing his haters, saying to those who have a problem with him that it “says more about you than it does him.” She would then call him selfless and caring, saying the world needs more people like him. For those unaware, recently, a small but vocal section of fans have been body shaming the former NXT Champion feeling his physique isn’t up to the standard set by other top wrestlers over the past 40 years.
Life hasn’t been great for Cole as of late, as in addition to fans questing his body type, he has also been dealing with a shoulder injury that may eventually require surgery. Additionally, he suffered what was described as a “very series” concussion during his four-way match at Forbidden Door and was forced to take time away from the ring and streaming on Twitch. Thankful, though, Cole has a very supportive partner in Britt Baker, and hopefully, it won’t be too long until he can wrestle again.
