During AAA’s premiere episode on Fox in Latin America, a video vignette featuring Dominik Mysterio aired, boasting about his success. However, while this was done to establish him to the audience as the AAA Mega Champion, the segment seemingly used AI-generated images, and briefly he was shown wearing the AEW World Championship, indicating that someone used the wrong prompt or the AI generator got confused. Subsequently, this mistake has sparked amusement online, and as of writing, the video remains live on AAA’s official X account.
In addition to being the AAA Mega Champion, 28-year-old Mysterio is the WWE Intercontinental Champion and is currently being pushed as a massive star in WWE’s sister promotion, having debuted for AAA in 2025. The third-generation luchador won AAA’s top belt at Worlds Collide in September 2025 by defeating Vikingo, notably becoming the first wrestler to hold championships in both WWE and AAA simultaneously. However, at present, he is unable to defend either title, having sustained a shoulder injury at Guerra de Titanes while teaming with El Grande Americano against his father, Rey Mysterio, and Rey Fenix.
