Last month, rock fans were stunned to learn that Dave Grohl had fathered a child outside of his marriage. The Foo Fighters singer confessed via social media: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”
Reports are now surfacing on how the 55-year-old rocker is trying to save his marriage. An insider allegedly told InTouch that Grohl is “offering up phone text messages and constantly apologizing and going to therapy. He’s trying to be a good dad but at the same time it’s frustrating and he doesn’t understand that these things can take months, even years to fix.”
The Daily Mail also reports that an insider claims: “He thinks the marriage is salvageable so why not try to fix it?” The Daily Mail also reports that their insider is giving Grohl a final chance to repair their relationship. “She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust,” the source said.
“He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs. Revealing his affair and baby in the first place was his last-ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew about it well before the world found out. He would rather remain married.”
