“Dark Side of the Ring” has become a cult hit among pro wrestling fans, with the seedier side of the business sometimes being more fascinating than the storylines that appear on television. However, the series has yet to cover Vince McMahon as a lone topic, and now, during an interview with Riju Dasgupta, producer Evan Husney has explained why they have decided to avoid the disgraced billionaire at present.

“My thought about it has always been that with any of these stories, they’re not done being told yet. They’re still unfolding. We are in the midst of that story, and we’re not sure where it’s going to go from here, right?

I mean, every few weeks, every few months, there’s something new about the lawsuit and what’s happening with that … If you committed to doing that story right now, you may get nothing. You might not get any answers. You might not be able to tell anything because people are unable to talk, or the information isn’t there.”Evan Husney

79-year-old McMahon disappeared from public view after Janel Grant’s lawsuit became public knowledge, and some presumed he would never return. Yet, after being spotted in attendance at Super Bowl 59 at the Caesars Superdome earlier this year, he was also recently caught on camera watching the New York Knicks defeat the Miami Heat. Therefore, some feel he is preparing to make a comeback, as it was previously reported that he was planning on opening a new entertainment company.
