Darby Allin Shares Injury Update Following All In

AEW original Darby Allin is one of the promotions’ brightest stars and is having a memorable career working for Tony Khan’s promotion. However, many fans do fear for his longevity, considering his reckless style and carefree attitude. And now, following an interview with CBS Chicago, he has revealed that coming out of All In last weekend, where he teamed with Sting against Swerve Strickland and Christian, he injured his spine when he took a bump on a metal coffin.

“I’m not 100%. We had a show in London, I really messed my spine up. I’m trying to take it easy before Sunday, My lower back is really banged up. At the show in Wembley, I jumped off the top rope and landed on a metal coffin on my lower spine.”

While Allin’s body is probably crying out for a break, that won’t be possible quite yet, as the 30-year-old AEW star is scheduled to face Luchasaurs for the TNT Championship at All Out this Sunday. Nevertheless, while the odds seemed stacked against him from a storyline perspective, bookmakers who take bets on pro wrestling have made him the favorite to come out victorious, which is despite news of his injury status.
