Confirmation Of Whether Rey Mysterio’s Raw Injury Is Legitimate

In very unfortunate news, especially because he has only just returned from injury, Rey Mysterio has suffered a legitimate shoulder injury while facing Austin Theory during this week’s Raw. This occurred during a spot outside the ring, and while fans online were hoping it was part of a storyline, Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com has confirmed the injury’s authenticity.

“Bryan Alvarez is confirming that Mysterio was legit hurt during his match against Austin Theory Monday’s Raw. He finished the match, but didn’t take part in a post-match beatdown that saw The Vision lay out Dragon Lee and Penta.”- F4Wonline.com

Mysterio’s illustrious wrestling career, spanning over 30 years, has been marked by numerous injuries stemming from his daring high-flying maneuvers. Early setbacks included a 1997 knee injury in WCW that sidelined him for 6 months, and in 2006, another knee injury kept him out for 9 months. Since then, he has suffered biceps tears, a shoulder separation, a groin tear, and an eardrum rupture, but always bounces back. Still, hopefully this latest injury isn’t serious and his time away from the ring is minimal.
