Complete WWE 2K22 Roster Revealed & Numerous Released Wrestlers Remain (w/Video)

An ongoing joke on social media was that whenever WWE released talents, those behind making WWE 2K22 would be angry that their work has gone to waste. Now though, it seems that was never an issue as for the most part, 2K has left in the vast majority of talents released last year. The notable exceptions are Bryan Danielson, Malakai Black, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Ruby Soho, who will have been cut due to signing with AEW. Plus Bray Wyatt, who didn’t leave WWE on the best of terms.

The below video, which shows off the talents and their ratings, also shows that several wrestlers that fans expected to be in the game are not. These include Ronda Rousey, Madcap Moss, Doudrop, Zelina Vega, Rick Boogz, and LA Knight.

While it was always expected that some released talents like Jeff Hardy would still appear in the game given the timelines involved, some of the releases were ten months ago. However, this is a positive for those talents as they will likely receive a significant payoff, which has been between five and six-figure amounts in past years.
