Colt Cabana Acknowledges CM Punk Revealing He Shares A Bank Account With His Mother

CM Punk used the All Out post-show media scrum to settle some scores, with it later claimed he’d been planning his rant for at least a few weeks. Yet while the big talking point ended up being his comments about The Young Bucks as he’d end up having a physical altercation with them, he initially directed his vitriol towards former friend Colt Cabana. Seemingly implying something was peculiar or possibly even dishonest with Cabana sharing a bank account with his mother. And now Cabana has acknowledged the comment during a Twitch stream and disclosed that his brother Greg Colton who works on Family Guy, also shares a bank account with her.

That’s a fun little tidbit. My brother is the director of family guy. You can look up his name, he also shares a bank account with my mother.

For those unaware, Cabana and Punk were very close longtime friends. However, things went sour when WWE sued them over comments made by Punk relating to WWE doctor Christopher Amann during the infamous podcast hosted by Cabana. The belief is Punk agreed to cover Cabana’s legal costs, but along the way, they fell out, and Cabana sued Punk when he rescinded that offer. Punk would counter-sue, and eventually, both lawsuits were settled with it reported that neither paid any financial settlement.

Therefore when Cabana’s AEW television time reduced once Punk signed for Tony Khan, many speculated that the former WWE star was responsible. Khan, though, would say that Punk wasn’t behind Cabana being moved to ROH, telling Forbes that Punk “had nothing to do with any of the contracts I picked up, whether I did or didn’t. But in particular, I did pick up Colt Cabana’s contract and gave him a similar contract to do different work.
