CM Punk Jokes About All Out Locker Room Altercation (w/Video)

While recuperating from a torn triceps, CM Punk has resumed commentating for the MMA promotion Cage Fury Fighting Championships, which is broadcast on UFC Fight Pass. And now, during their latest event, Punk would acknowledge his infamous backstage brawl with The Elite by jokingly saying, “I’m bad news, you don’t want me in the locker room.” Followed by one of the other commentators remarking, “don’t let him do any press conferences.

How AEW management will fill about Punk making such a comment is unknown, yet, considering he has been removed from the cover art of Fight Forever, it appears he is on his way out of the company. The speculation being that a buyout is all but agreed upon, with his non-compete clause being the stumbling block. Nevertheless, it’s clear his AEW contract doesn’t prevent him from working outside of pro wrestling, and therefore Punk can seemingly wait as long as required while getting paid six figures a month.
