Eight months ago, TMZ unexpectedly revealed that wrestlers Miro and CJ Perry had broken up. The report would actually state that the pair, who met while working for WWE, had separated late last year, but it was only just being disclosed. And while Miro has mainly stayed silent, Perry has remained prominent on social media, demonstrating she is living her best life.
However, once WWE’s Damian Priest began appearing in her photos and videos, speculation commenced they were dating, with some fans going as far as to blame Perry’s divorce on the former Judgment Day member. Still, there was never any official confirmation they were together, and now Perry has shot down this “funny internet rumor” during a Q&A session on Instagram.
“No, I am not dating Damian Priest. That is a very much fun. That was a funny, internet rumor. You know, what’s always really funny for me is, like, if I post a guy, it’s like all my guy friends were cracking up in March and April. Anytime I posted them on story, they’re like, the DMs are like, ‘Is that your new boyfriend?’ It’s like, guys, I have, I have guy friends. Calm down.”
CJ Perry39-year-old Perry broke into the pro wrestling business via WWE in 2013 and shortly afterward adopted a Russian accent to manage her future husband, Miro, who at the time was called Rusev. Yet, despite being regularly featured, she was surprisingly released in 2021 as part of budget cuts. And while it was always assumed she would end up in AEW due to her then-husband working there, it wasn’t until 2023 that she debuted for the company, although indicating she was on a short-term contract, she has since departed.
