While many speculated wrestling legend Chris Jericho’s return to the WWE, at Saturday’s Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, that didn’t come to be. Still, most fans expect to see Jericho back with the company at some point this year.
Jericho did make an announcement over the weekend, however, in the form a new film project he’s involved with. Jericho is set to appear in the upcoming Apple TV series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” alongside Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning and Nick Offerman.
“Excited to share a preview (pic) of my upcoming role in the new series, ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles’ on @appletv!” Jericho wrote via Instagram. “Had a blast filming with the legendary Nicole Kidman & the hilarious @nickofferman, who headline an ALL-STAR CAST in the adaptation of the acclaimed novel about pro wrestling, OnlyFans & Margo (played by the amazing @ellefanning) getting creative with making money & raising a family. Premiers on April 15th on #AppleTV #margosgotmoneytroubles”
A synopsis of the series reads: “The daughter of a former Hooter’s waitress and an ex-pro wrestler, Margo is a recent college dropout and aspiring writer. Faced with a new baby, touting pile of bills, and dwindling number of ways to pay them, Margo must find a way forward.”
