Chris Jericho Announces Huge TV Role Amid Wrestling Absence

Wrestling fans have been speculating for months now about Chris Jericho’s wrestling future and if he’ll re-sign with AEW or make the move back to WWE. In the meantime, Jericho has stayed plenty busy on the road with FOZZY and also via another love of his, acting. 

On Monday, the wrestling star took to his Instagram to announce that he’ll appear on an upcoming episode of the hit CBS show, “Tracker,” set to air Sunday night. “Stoked to announce I’ll be playing the lead bad guy on this Sunday’s episode of @trackercbs, the NUMBER ONE SHOW on network tv!!!” Jericho wrote. “The episode is called #Breakaway also starring @justinhartley, @fionarene, @davidpaulramsey & @durance.erica and was directed by @davidmbarrett395  I play #VirgilDean and let’s just say, he’s not a nice guy. Can’t wait for you all to see it, THIS SUNDAY at 9pm EST on @cbstv & @paramountplus!”

Jericho’s recent acting credits have included appearances in the horror films “Terrifier 2,” “Terrifier 3,” and “Dark Match,” and he also previously announced that he will star in the upcoming Apple TV series “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” in a cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning, Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear and Michelle Pfeiffer.
