Following the announcements that Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, and the U.S. Express will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year, it has now been confirmed that this year’s celebrity induction will be Muhammad Ali. The legendary boxer, who sadly passed away in 2016, first got involved in the wrestling world back in 1976 when he had an exhibition bout against Antonio Inoki in Tokyo which actually saw him do an angle with Gorilla Monsoon in the buildup. Then, nine years later, he was featured as a guest referee for the first WrestleMania main event, famously helping restore order in the match by punching “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
