Marcus Bagwell has been arrested multiple times in the past for DUI, so when it was reported by WrestlingNews.co that he had been charged with speeding while under the influence, it was easy to believe. Now though the former WCW stat has disputed this on social media, revealing this documentation came from a past offense, and he remains 11 months sober.
17 months ago, 53-year-old Bagwell moved in with DDP to finally conquer the drug and alcohol addictions that have plagued his adult life. And while he did suffer a severe setback that resulted in him checking into rehab, he has previously disclosed he has been sober since August 26th. Hopefully, he can now stay clean, as he is clearly a good guy when sober and still has something to offer the business, having been a big star during the 90s boom period.
