Buff Bagwell Addresses His Social Media Manager Being A Sex Offender Accused Of Stealing From Wrestling Fans

Life has been challenging for 52-year-old Buff Bagwell in recent years, as in addition to multiple incidents with the law stemming from his drug and alcohol addictions, he also recently lost his mother. He claims he requested help from WWE, but they turned their back on him. However, DDP would step and is aiding him in turning his life around. This has resulted in an increase in his social media presence, with many speculating he had purposely turned to Twitter as a substitute for drugs. Some, though, would question whether it was really Bagwell tweeting due to his takes not always matching up with his past comments, yet, Bagwell would claim it was him.

However, following multiple fans claiming they never received merchandise they ordered via Bagwell’s social media, it has been revealed that Bagwell did have a third-party person involved. That person was known online as Michael Long, and shortly after it was discovered he wasn’t fulfilling the orders, it was found out he was a registered sex offender using a fake name.

Obviously, this revelation would result in a lot of heat on Bagwell for partnering with someone convicted for importuning. And now, the former WCW star has taken to YouTube to address the situation, stating he is looking to get to the bottom of the merchandise troubles and hasn’t received any of the money sent. He would also add that he didn’t condone his former social media manager’s criminal past and was unaware of his history when he hired him.

Bagwell appears to be doing much better recently, so hopefully, this situation doesn’t cause any type of relapse. Despite his own controversial past, many fans are pulling for Bagwell and are hoping for a happy ending. And having partnered with DDP, he certainly has tremendous support, with the wrestler turned yoga guru being instrumental in achieving their goal of being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
