There were several big talking points coming out of Saturday night’s Survivor Series premium live event, with Bronson’s Reed’s injury status being among them. This is because the Australian attempted to steal the show by diving off the top of the cage and subsequently crashing through a table.
However, despite being a cool spot, Reed landed badly and clearly injured one, if not both ankles, on impact. And now, after Triple H stated during the post-show press conference, “he’s gonna be questionable for a few weeks,” Reed has taken to social media to say, “Injuries are temporary. Moments are forever,” indicating he has no regrets.
Reed, real name Jermaine Haley, is currently on his second run with WWE, having previously been released because Vince McMahon failed to see his potential. Yet once Triple H was put in a position to sign talents, Reed would get a second chance to become a WWE star. This has, therefore, seen the 36-year-old go from the midcard to the main event, and if he can avoid serious injury, it seems only a matter of time before he holds gold on the main roster.
