While he undeniably had one of the greatest pro wrestling careers of all time, Bret Hart has experienced more than his fair share of personal tragedies, having suffered a stroke and losing his younger brother Owen, to name just two. Still, his 41-year-old daughter Jade being diagnosed with cancer was a particularly cruel blow. However, finally, in some happy news, she has now taken to Instagram to announce that following 20 radiation sessions over five weeks, she has been declared cancer-free, saying, “It’s the first day of my new life.”
Jade is Bret Hart’s eldest child, having been born while he was still married to his first wife, Julie. Together, they would have a total of four children, although they separated in 1998 and divorced in 2002. Despite this, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer wouldn’t give up on finding love and re-married in 2004. And while that relationship didn’t last, he seemingly found out that the third time is a charm, as he has been married to his current wife, Stephanie Washington, for 14 years.
