Braun Strowman Thanks Fans Following WWE Return

With Triple H bringing back former talents released under Vince McMahon’s control of WWE, many people had assumed it was only a matter of time before Braun Strowman returned to the company where he became famous. And on this week’s episode of Raw, he would be reintroduced to fans and was immediately positioned as a top guy by interrupting a fatal four-way tag match and destroying the competitors and some local talents dressed as security. And whether this was a good thing to do for the tag division is debatable, he certainly made an impact and delighted the fans in attendance. And following this performance, in which he was visibly emotional about his second chance, he would take to Twitter and thank the fans.

Strowman previously said he would never lace his boots up for anyone other than WWE and likely believed this, seeing as he had a big-money contract and was in his late 30s. Nevertheless, when McMahon cast him aside, he would work a limited number of indie shows when his $20,000 asking price was met. Additionally, he partnered with EC3 for Control Your Narrative, a Fight Club-inspired promotion, and while it’s believed the promotion will continue, it’s doubtful Strowman will be able to feature for them going forward.
