Braun Strowman Confirms He’s Undergone Surgery

Earlier this week, it was reported that Braun Strowman was dealing with an unspecified injury. Subsequently, it was noted he had been spotted in Birmingham, Alabama, which for those unaware, is where the surgeons WWE frequently uses are based. And now Strowman has confirmed via his Instagram that this is accurate, and he has undergone level one fusion of his c4/c5 vertebrae, which he notes will take him some time to recover from.

Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.

Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman, known as “The Monster Among Men,” is one of the most awe-inspiring figures in professional wrestling, and his loss will come as a blow to WWE, who re-hired him last year. Nevertheless, these types of injuries are always unfortunate, and it can only be hoped Strowman can return with the surprising agility and athleticism he demonstrated prior to this surgery.
