Former WWE wrestler Ember Moon recently was interviewed by Chris Van Vliet about her time with the company. During this, she would reveal she wasn’t happy with how NXT changed and that the company held a meeting with wrestlers about the female wrestlers dressing more provocatively like Mandy Rose for NXT 2.0. Additionally, making it known that some talents were uncomfortable with this but were told they had no choice.
Now on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T, who was involved in training Moon before she joined WWE, gave his thoughts on his former student publicly sharing this information. With the WWE Hall of Famer noting it serves Moon no benefit sharing something WWE didn’t want people outside the meeting knowing and that she has potentially burnt a bridge with the company.
It isn’t surpassing that Booker T sided with WWE, given he has a long-term contract with them. However, the fact he would publicly criticize his former student on his own platform when he could have purposely avoided the topic isn’t the best look. Nevertheless, he is likely correct, noting that Moon has possibly soured her relationship with WWE following the interview, although whether she has any aspirations of returning isn’t known.
