Ryback and Booker T have heat stemming from a podcast episode where the two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T addressed Ryback’s behavior on social media, saying he doesn’t have a lot of respect for him, and if they ever cross paths, he wouldn’t be extending his hand. This would obviously get back to Ryback, and the two have been beefing since.
And now, with Ryback having challenged Booker T to a legitimate fight, Booker T has responded while appearing as a guest on the Joe Cronin Show podcast, saying he accepts the challenge but notes he wasn’t looking for a fight but would defend himself if something were to happen when their paths cross.
“As far as the challenge goes, I accept Ryback’s challenge to a fight. As far as if I see Ryback in public, it’s on. The green light is on. So I won’t get sued if we see each other and something happened to happen, then it happens, but I’m not looking for a fight or anything. You never know what you’re getting into in a fight. You never know what someone is capable of. I’m always about defending myself.”
Booker TFrom the sounds of it, this isn’t the type of fight anyone will be streaming on pay-per-view but something that goes down at a convention or airport. Therefore it will be interesting to see if and when the pair are booked at the same time in the same town, as plenty of people would love to see the two badasses get it on.
