Jon Bon Jovi’s son, Jake Bongiovi, recently made his acting debut in “Rockbottom,” a comedy about an ’80s hair metal band. The film is available via Prime Video and centers around the fictional band CougarSnake, a forgotten glam metal act who get a shout out from present-day Gen Z music star Bryce Cooper.
The mention sets off a CougarSnake frenzy and the band reunites only to lose their singer. Jake Bongiovi plays a pizza delivery driver with a big voice, and the film’s plot commences.
Around a year ago, “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown announced her engagement to Jake, and revealed the pair met via Instagram. “I was interested in him and wanted to know more,” she told the Sunday Times. “As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life. After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.”
People has reported that the couple got married in a private ceremony last weekend. Brown is 20, and Jake is 22.
Jake’s rock star dad also told SiriusXM last year that he’s been onboard with the wedding. “I don’t know if age matters,” Bon Jovi told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show last year, noting that Dorothea was his high school sweetheart. “You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together — I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise. So I think that all of my kids have found the people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.”
