Big E has been absent from WWE television since he suffered a broken neck back in March 2022 following a botched belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland. Now though it has been reported by PWInsider.com, he is backstage at this week’s SmackDown in Orlando, Florida. It is though noted it isn’t known whether he will appear on camera.
“Former WWE Champion Big E was seen entering tonight’s Smackdown taping about an hour or so ago in Orlando, Florida. No word whether he is appearing in some fashion on the broadcast.”
PWInsider.comBig E was recently interviewed on After The Bell and shared a positive update; however, he doesn’t have any answers when it comes to returning to the ring. That, of course, could have been him kayfabing fans to keep his return surprise, as with SummerSlam around the corner, it would make perfect sense for him to be this year’s big return.
