WWE suspended both Sasha Banks and Naomi after they walked out on the company due to being unhappy with their creative for the May 15th episode of Raw. And while there is likely much more to the situation than just feeling their tag team was underutilized, as neither has publicly commented on this yet, many questions remain unanswered. Nevertheless, it was reported by WrestlingInc that Banks had actually gone as far as to request her release, and she has since been accepting non-wrestling-related bookings.
However, WWE hasn’t officially announced either woman’s departure, and following Triple H taking over talent relations, it has been rumored he wanted to smooth things over with the duo. And now, during Crown Jewel’s “Then. Now. Forever” intro, eagle-eyed fans have spotted both women’s inclusion, seemingly indicating they are back with the company.
When the tandem will return in person remains unknown, but WWE clearly added them to the intro to begin hyping their return. With it worth noting, they never officially announced Bray Wyatt’s return and instead allowed fans to create the anticipation. However, as Banks recently said on her Instagram, she is going to make the most of November, adding, “there’s going to be something so f*cking crazy coming,” it appears likely she’ll be back in December.
