On Saturday, Big E broke wrestling fans’ hearts when he shared the unfortunate news that his broken neck han had not healed enough for him to be medically cleared to return to the ring and possibly never would be. Yet, he has now shared some much-needed positive news, announcing on Instagram he is in a relationship with Kris Yim, the sister of fellow WWE wrestler Mia Yim.
38-year-old Big E decided to pursue pro wrestling following a conversation with Jim Ross after injuries derailed his attempts to become a footballer, having been a defensive lineman for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Then, following a successful tryout with WWE, he would be fast-tracked onto the FCW roster, immediately grabbing fans’ attention due to his impressive looks and undeniable charisma. Over the years, he would become NXT Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion twice, and eight-time tag champion. However, his career highlight would come in 2021 when he cashed in his Money In The Bank contract against Bobby Lashley and became WWE Champion to the delight of fans worldwide.
