On Monday’s Raw, there was an angle where Becky Lynch tried to cut Bianca Belair’s braid off with a pair of scissors in retaliation for her previously using it as a weapon on her. However, things wouldn’t work out for the Raw Women’s Champion, and it was her who received a hair. Now though, Lynch has shared photos of her brand new cut, which shows a fresh dye job as well. Whether it was Lynch’s idea or WWE’s idea for her to do the angle is unknown. Still, a change of look can be very beneficial financially for all involved as The Man will now need new merchandise.
Becky Lynch returned to WWE at SummerSlam, having been on maternity leave for the prior 15 months, and would defeat Belair for the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship in a controversial match. This was because Lynch won in less than 30 seconds, with many fans saying Belair had been made to look weak. However, it did kick off a heel turn for Lynch and a program between the pair. And while it did appear their feud was cooling, it was reignited once Belair won a #1 Contendership Elimination Chamber match at Elimination Chamber.
