Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE television for almost a year, and while his contract would expire during this time, it’s been reported that she has since signed a new deal. Yet, many fans wonder if she will ever return after missing the big Netflix debut, the Royal Rumble, and likely WrestleMania 41.
And now, during an appearance on The Ultimate Improv Show this past Friday night, Lynch publicly announced that she isn’t wrestling anymore, although she mentioned the fact that her husband, Seth Rollins, still is.
38-year-old Lynch had been a part of WWE since 2013, with her low-key NXT debut the following year marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. From there, she would etch her name in the annals of WWE history by becoming a seven-time world champion and even one of the first women to headline a WrestleMania. Therefore, with her WWE legacy assured, it is easy to understand why she wants to focus on motherhood rather than constantly being on the road, plus pursue an acting career, with it known she has a role in the upcoming “Happy Gilmore 2.”
