On Monday night, it was announced that Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus will take place in two weeks on Raw from Winnipeg, with Zoey Starks banned from ringside. This would result in the duo trending on Twitter/X due to them being bumped from SummerSlam, with it speculated the SummerSlam Battle Royal, presented by Slim Jim, had taken their place on the card. And while neither woman has outright addressed their obvious disappointment, Lynch has now taken to Twitter to mock the situation, saying she is making lemonade due to all the lemons she’s been given and then asking what everyone else has planned for the weekend.
While it is surely disappointing for both Lynch and Stratus to be off SummerSlam, at least they will be given an opportunity to conclude their storyline in a featured match on Raw. And given their professionalism and the fact they are two of the top female stars in pro wrestling history, they will likely try and show management what they missed out on with an epic bout.
