Becky Lynch seemingly wants to be the next WWE star to become a movie star. As it turns out that after filming Billions in 2020 and doing voiceover work on Rumble, she filmed a post-credit scene for Marvel, according to Fightful Select. The scene was for Angelina Jolie’s movie Eternals and was alongside Harry Styles, who plays Eros. However, it was cut due to being “too depressing.” Still, it’s said producers liked her performance, so her character could be resurrected in the future.
One person with knowledge of the situation claimed that the post-credits scene was “too depressing,” but we didn’t gain any additional context. Another source indicated that pop star Harry Styles would have been involved in her scene.
Lynch suffered a separated shoulder at SummerSlam and was out for several months before returning before Survivor in time to participate in WarGames. Nevertheless, her time away from the ring wasn’t totally wasted, as she would film content for Young Rock, performing as the legendary singer, and wrestling enthusait Cyndi Lauper. And while only appearing in one episode, her performance was incredibly well received by fans, so it appears an acting career is hers if she wants it.
