During the WrestleMania Night 1 pre-show, WWE shot a backstage angle that saw Bayley injured, opening the door for Becky Lynch to be Lyra Valkyrie’s tag partner for her match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Yet, while fans were very excited that Lynch was returning to the ring, many felt Bayley was being disrespected and should consider even joining AEW.
And now, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, which was recorded prior to WrestleMania, Bayley revealed she has around 18 months on her current contract but added that she’s been with the company “already 12 years.” Subsequently, fans on social media have speculated that this could mean she is open to switching sides and becoming All Elite.
Not long after news broke that Bayley was off WrestleMania, her former tag team partner Mercedes Moné took to X and shared a series of emojis seemingly suggesting she call her. This would result in some fans trying to claim this was contract tampering. Still, considering how close the pair are, it’s more likely the former Sasha Banks just wanted to support her friend, who had apparently just been robbed of her WrestleMania spot.
