Last weekend’s Survivor Series was a memorable event for WWE, although, unfortunately, the big talking point coming out of the event was that Bronson’s Reed had seemingly suffered an injury. This occurred when the Australian attempted to steal the show by diving off the top of the cage and crashing through a table.
And while Triple H would share positive news in the subsequent press conference, noting Reed would be “questionable for a few weeks,” it appears he spoke too soon. That is because, according to PWInsider.com, Reed is currently scheduled for surgery next week.
“The word making the rounds among WWE talents is that Bronson Reed will undergo surgery sometime next week for his ankle/foot injury suffered at WWE Survivor Series. Reed was slated to wrestle Seth Rollins in steel cage matches as part of the company’s past-holiday live event week, so those lineups will change in the days to come.”
PWInsider.comReed, real name Jermaine Haley, is on his second WWE run, having previously been released because Vince McMahon failed to see his potential. Yet once Triple H was put in a position to sign talents, Reed would get a second chance to become a WWE star after impressing his new boss in NXT. Still, despite recently becoming a featured performer thanks to working with Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins, it now appears he will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
