Three-time WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair last wrestled on the August 18th episode of SmackDown alongside Charlotte Flair against Bayley & IYO SKY. During this match, she had her knee injured as part of the storyline. And now, Fightful Select reports that this was done so she can take a pre-planned break from the road, with no accurate timetable currently known for her return.
“Belair was planned for some time off, and was factored in creatively. However, we’ve heard differing things on how long she could be out, ranging from a few weeks (under a month) to possibly three months.”
Fightful Select34-year-old Belair joined WWE in 2016 and quickly rose through the company despite having no wrestling experience to become a prominent star. And while she has had numerous memorable moments, her most outstanding achievement has been heading the first night of WrestleMania 37 against Sasha Banks.
