Former AWA Tag Team Champion Bobby Duncum Sr. Passes Away

In sad news, WWE has announced on its website that wrestling veteran Bobby Duncum Sr. passed away on January 21, 2026, at age 81. The former football player wrestled for the WWF, NWA, New Japan, and AWA during his 20-year in-ring career, notably holding the AWA Tag Team Championship alongside Blackjack Lanza. Additionally, he was the father of Bobby Duncum Jr., who tragically died in 2000, aged just 34, from a drug overdose.
