Last week, injured WWE star Asuka concerned fans via a series of tweets, where she revealed that she had been feeling in danger and subsequently contacted the police. Additionally, she requested fans not to have romantic feelings for her, possibly indicating she had received some unwanted attention. And now she has again taken to social media platform X to ask those making advances towards her to “Please stop immediately.”
43-year-old Asuka isn’t the first WWE star to have to deal with unwanted fan attention, with Sonya Deville infamously having a terrifying situation with a stalker five years ago. This was when a fan named Phillip A. Thomas II was arrested inside her house while possessing a knife, duct tape, and mace. Yet while most assumed Thomas would spend a very long time behind bars, he actually avoided prison after two doctors deemed him mentally incompetent to stand trial. Instead, the troubled fan was committed to the Florida State Hospital, where he is supposedly getting the mental assistance he needs.
