On Thursday, Ash By Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke in WWE, caused quite a stir on X after she called SmackDown’s Tiffany Stratton a “knockoff Barbie” and claimed she had stolen her Swanton Bomb maneuver. However, after a significant amount of fan backlash, she has since backtracked on her comments, now claiming she was posting in character and that she actually gives “mad props 2 Tiff for all her work.”
35-year-old Ash by Elegance worked for WWE for a decade but was never prominently featured in the women’s division despite her impressive look. Instead, she is likely best remembered for being a multiple 24/7 Champion and for her backstage comedy segments with Tozawa, Reggie, and Tamina. Still, she now has the opportunity to reinvent herself in TNA, and so far is 4-0, seemingly indicating the promotion intends to push her as a top talent.
