It was shockingly reported that famed movie director and Emmy-award winning TV actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were killed in an apparent stabbing on Sunday. The 78-year-old Reiner and his 70-year-old wife were both found dead in their California home with “lacerations consistent with a knife,” according to TMZ.
The New York Post reported grim details: “Sources told The Post that stab wounds to their throats were among multiple wounds throughout their bodies. Their horrified daughter quickly told investigators that a relative ‘should be a suspect’ because they’re ‘dangerous;” sources told the outlet, suggesting it came during a heated argument.”
According to People.com, Reiner’s son Nick was arrested in connection to the crimes. The site reported: “According to Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department records, Nick was taken into custody and is being held on $4 million bail. At an unrelated press conference Monday morning, LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell said Nick had been booked on a murder charge.”
Reiner and his wife had been married since 1989 and had three children together including Nick who previously disclosed that he struggled with addiction issues and homelessness.
