Andrade El Idolo made his in-ring return to AEW on the January 17, 2026, episode of Collision, defeating Angelico in his first match for the company in over two years. The former WWE star would win the game thanks to a double-arm spinning neckbreaker, previously known as “The Message” in WWE, to secure the win. However, post-match, Andrade confirmed on X the move’s new name, “DM,” which appears to be a modern-day alternative to the prior name.
Andrade El Idolo is a Mexican third-generation luchador who debuted at the age of 13. Rising to prominence in CMLL as La Sombra, he co-founded Los Ingobernables before signing with WWE in 2015 and winning the NXT Championship. However, in recent years, he has moved between WWE and AEW, with fans now hoping he has finally found a new long-term home.
