All Japan Announces Death Of Veteran Wrestler Following Match

In heartbreaking news, All Japan has announced on social media that 50-year-old pro wrestler Yutaka Yoshie has died. No cause of death has yet been disclosed, but he had completed in a tag match for the promotion earlier in the day and was taken unwell afterward in the backstage area. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he sadly still passed away.

Yoshie broke into the business in 1994 and subsequently competed for New Japan for the following 12 years. There, his career highlight would occur when he won the IWGP Tag Team Championships alongside Hiroshi Tanahashi in 2003. However, since 2006, he has been competing as a freelancer and has worked for well-known promotions, including Zero1, Big Japan, NOAH, and All Japan.
