Recently it was reported that Rush’s AEW contract was set to expire, prompting much speculation about his future. Subsequently, it was written by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is interested in him; however, AEW’s financial offer was far more significant. And now the former ROH World Champion has taken to social media to confirm he has signed a contract extension
34-year-old Rush has been off AEW television since May, with some sources saying he was having issues with his visa, others though have dispelled that claim leaving his absence a mystery. Regardless though, he seems healthy as he recently worked for AAA at their Triplemania Tijuana event, teaming with LA Park against Psycho Clown and Sam Adonis.
