AEW Talent Injured On Indie Show

Recently AEW’s Abadon started looking for additional bookings due to wanting more ring time, and over the weekend, they wrestled an intergender match at New York-based Warriors of Wrestling. Unfortunately, though, the contest was abruptly stopped after a bad landing when performing a huranacanrana saw the non-binary competitor needing hospital attention.

And now PWInsider.com has provided the sad update that they likely suffered a broken collarbone. If accurate, this would probably require three months of recovery before the 30-year-old could even think about taking another bump.

PWInsider.com is told Abadon was executing a huranacanrana against Joey Ace when she landed wrong and was injured. The match was immediately stopped and Ababon was taken to a hospital. The word making the rounds is that Abadon likely suffered a broken collarbone.

Many fans consider Abadon to be one of AEW’s most underutilized talents having only competed for them fourteen times this year. And when you consider they last appeared on a non-YouTube AEW show on the 27th of October 2021 episode of Rampage, it seems that Tony Khan has some doubt regarding their readiness for television. Therefore extra outside bookings made perfect sense, although, in this instance, it backfired for all involved.
