Colten and Austin Gunn, collectively known as The Gunn’s, won the AEW Tag Team Championships from The Acclaimed this past Wednesday on Dynamite. And now it has been reported by Fightful Select the brothers signed new deals ahead of their title victory. The precise length of the extensions was not confirmed, however, AEW typically offers three-year deals, and Fightful did report their contracts are multi-year.
Fightful Select has confirmed that both Austin and Colten Gunn recently re-signed with All Elite Wrestling, and will remain with the company. An exact set of terms for the deal were not revealed, although we can confirm that the two both signed multi-year deals. Austin Gunn signed with AEW back in January of 2020, but there was never an official announcement of when Colten was brought into the company.
Fightful SelectThe sons of the great Billy Gunn initially joined AEW at separate times in 2020, appearing alongside their father as The Gunn Club, typically performing on AEW Dark. However, after almost a year of focusing on honing their skills on AEW’s YouTube shows, they would begin to compete on Dynamite, with the feuds with FTR and then The Acclaimed, making them semi-regular features on the show.
