Juice Robinson hasn’t had the best of luck with injuries since joining AEW, but as a participant in the Continental Classic, it was hoped that he would be able to showcase his ability in a series of fresh matchups. Yet, in disappointing news, it has been reported by Fightful Select that the Bang Bang Gang stable member has been spotted on crutches at WrestleCade following his pre-taped Gold Group match with Will Osperay. And while the severity of the injury wasn’t confirmed, a replacement could be needed to fulfill his schedule.
“Juice Robinson suffered an injury on the November 30th episode of AEW Collision (taped on November 27) … Robinson was seen on crutches during WrestleCade weekend.”
Fightful SelectApart from his AEW run, 35-year-old Robinson is also known for his time in New Japan due to being a three-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion. However, fans with long memories may even remember him competing under the ring name CJ Parker in NXT, where he was far from the star he became in Japan. In fact, he would typically be used to put over WWE’s next generation of main eventers like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn before eventually requesting his release due to feeling he could achieve more success elsewhere.
