AEW Star Reportedly Wants To Explore Free Agency

While he has only been wrestling since 2021, Tyler Senerchia, better known as Hook, has become one of AEW’s success stories and is currently getting prominently featured due to working with Chris Jericho. However, it now appears his long-term future could be away from Tony Khan’s promotion because, according to SEScoops.com, he intends to explore free agency when his contract expires later this year. Of course, this doesn’t mean he is leaving AEW, but it looks like he wants to talk to WWE, where his father, Taz, previously worked as both a wrestler and commentator.

“A popular second-generation pro wrestler is poised to let WWE and AEW compete for his talents. SEScoops has learned that HOOK (Tyler Senerchia) is interested in exploring his options in free agency once his contract with All Elite Wrestling expires later this year.”

24-year-old Hook made his AEW debut in November 2020 as part of Team Taz alongside Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and Powerhouse Hobbs, although it would be over a year before he would step in the ring to have his first professional match. From there, he established an impressive winning streak and has subsequently become synonymous with the FTW Championship, which is the same unsanctioned title his father created while part of ECW.
