AEW Original Among Bound For Glory Surprise Appearances

Saturday night’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view featured a Call Your Shot gauntlet match featuring many of Impact Wrestling’s most recognizable names. Still, among the regular performers, there was room for three surprise participants in the form of Matt Cardona, Juventud Guerrera, and AEW original Sonny Kiss, who was making his debut for the company.

29-year-old Kiss initially made a name for himself in Lucha Underground under the name XO Lishus. So, when AEW was looking for talents in 2019 to launch AEW, Kiss was one of his first signees. He would go on to compete on AEW’s inaugural pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, and then, for a period, became a featured performer in the promotion. However, this didn’t last, and over time, he’d become an enhancement talent on Dark and Dark: Elevation before moving to the ROH roster and eventually departing the company once his contract expired.
