AEW Has Removed MJF From Their Website Roster & Stopped Selling His Merchandise

Over the weekend, the big topic of conversation on social media was MJF not appearing for an AEW fan meet and greet, causing the promotion to issue refunds. Additionally, due to the fact it was known the wrestler was unhappy with his AEW contract, there was a lot of speculation as to whether he would compete at Double or Nothing. Ultimately he would, but it was later reported he arrived right before the match and left as soon as his bout was over.

Since then, it is understood that MJF and Tony Khan have spoken, and seeing as MJF was on Dynamite, it seems their issues are resolved if they ever truly existed. And now, following a promo on Dynamite where he buried Tony Khan and the company, AEW has taken the storyline up a gear by not only removing MJF from their roster page but has also stopped selling his merchandise.

Whether the situation between MJF and Khan was a work all along has not yet been confirmed. However, that does appear to be the general consensus among fans. And while this is a risky strategy, which in the past burnt WCW, whose fans tiring of worked shoots under Vince Russo, it does have fans talking.
