While Tony Khan is understood to be the booker for AEW’s upcoming new Collision show debuting on June 17th, it’s now been reported by Fightful Select he’ll be getting some big-name assistance. As in addition to Pat Buck, Sonjay Dutt, QT Marshall, and the newly hired Will Washington, Bryan Danielson will also be working in creative on the show.
AEW has a big name involved in helping creative. Bryan Danielson will be contributing in creative for the Collision brand, according to sources familiar with the situation.
During Bryan Danileson’s final run as Daniel Bryan in WWE, it’s known he would also work in creative for SmackDown, so he certainly has experience. And while it isn’t known precisely what storylines he was involved in, it is believed he pushed to have Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Claudio Castagnoli given a more prominent role, leading to the pair frequently working together.
