After CM Punk shared his side of the story regarding All In’s now-infamous backstage altercation between himself and Jack Perry, AEW announced they would broadcast the footage during this week’s Dynamite. And while some fans believed the real video wouldn’t air, they have been proven wrong, as The Young Bucks would introduce it as part of their long-running feud with FTR. In the clip, which can be seen below, Punk can clearly be seen talking to Perry before he goes wild, and Samoa Joe, Chris Hero, and Jerry Lynn intervene.
It is unclear whether the footage being released will negatively affect Punk’s WWE career. However, as his anger issues were well-known before his re-signing, it doesn’t seem very likely. Nevertheless, it was a poor look for the now-former AEW talent and illustrates why Tony Khan had no other option but to fire one of his biggest stars.
