Adam Page Comments After Suffering Concussion On Dynamite

Tuesday night’s Dynamite was highly anticipated, with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley defending the title against former champion Adam Page. Yet while the match was going great, it had to be suddenly stopped when Moxley’s lariat clothesline flipped Page over, and he scarily landed face-first on the mat. At this point, AEW’s doctor Michael Sampson would immediately check on the clearly hurt Page, and he was stretched out of the ring off-camera.

Thankfully though, later in the evening, AEW would provide an update on social media, confirming that while Page had suffered a concussion, he had been discharged from the hospital, which was seemingly positive news. And now Page has taken to Twitter to thank everyone for being so nice, saying he was feeling good and had eaten a panini.

The timing of Page’s injury is dreadful for AEW, with CM Punk, Christian, and Adam Cole also hurt and The Elite still suspended. Therefore the next question will now be how long the anxious millennial cowboy will be sidelined. As while it’s typical for concussions to heal within a few weeks, as has been demonstrated with Cole, who has been out for months, there is no accurate timeframe. Ultimately, health comes first, and with so much more now known about head injuries than even a decade ago, Page certainly won’t be rushed back into action.
